Creed’s Royal Mayfair is a niche scent with a regal and elegant charm, inspired by one of the most important figures of the 20th century, the Duke of Windsor. He was admired for the always courageous choices that have punctuated a life of absolute sophistication. The style icon of the era commissioned Maison Creed to create a perfume called Windsor. Almost 80 years after his grandfather’s creation and inspired by the concept of British elegance embodied in the fragrance that deeply affected his soul, Olivier Creed today gives us, with Royal Mayfair, his personal vision of masculine elegance. A royal fragrance because it is inspired by a man destined for the crown of England, but who renounced it to marry the american and multi-talented beloved Wallis Simpson; a fragrance that is an explicit reference to Mayfair, the quintessential temple of British Style and the first British boutique Creed opened in 1760. The emblazoned brand has its roots in haute couture and tailor-made: in the district considered today the most glamorous in London, the Maison dressed a niche of clientele from the most refined environments and created personalized fragrances that complemented the style of his admirers. Royal Mayfair has an initial explosion of tuberous and pink flowers followed by cedar wood that joins the sandal to create a solid and persistent heart followed by a bottom of sumptuous raw materials: musk, amber and vanilla that close the composition. Fresh from medicinal eucalyptus and orange, the direction of jus soon softens into a sweet heart of tuberosa and pink. Timeless elegance for a sensational formula extremely dynamic in its evolution on the skin.
