No.5 The UAE is today’s No. 5. A flowery-fresh, vibrant and dynamic, under the sign of modernity and freshness. The UAE is the eulogy of simplicity. The UAE has been a pure feature since its minimalist packaging. The iconic silhouette of the perfume is embossed on the cardboard casing; inside, a precious case encloses the transparent and crystalline bottle. An essential cap, without any mechanism that alters this impression of clarity. Less abstract than the previous ones, the new composition of No.5 The UAE spreads its citrus notes almost like a sun-kissed honey. In the head notes, lemon, tangerine and orange soar to the sky thanks to aldehydes. Later, the flowers hatch: the rose blends with the intangible jasmine and a new note of ylang-ylang, more modern than ever. After this floral vortex, you can feel an unprecedented vibration, which springs from the vetiver and cedar wood, accompanied by sweet notes of white mosses. CHANEL No.5 has never been so natural, so fresh.
Today Olivier Polge, perfumer of the House CHANEL, reinvents No.5, demonstrating how impeccable and stimulating his architecture is. With the same meticulousness as a goldsmith, he thoroughly analyzed the original formula and each of its ingredients, to understand its authentic role within the fragrance. Olivier Polge wanted to create a new balance, an ideal of freshness. He was able to grasp, and give back, the essence of his time.
